Angry interlude
It kills me when people say things like “I don’t play games” when they are talking about romantic relationships. Of course you play games. If you are self-aware enough to acknowledge the possibility of manipulating someone else, you are as good as admitting that you do it.
Most people do it. It’s not necessarily a bad thing. Manipulation is what creates and stokes romance, often. To tell someone that you don’t play games is to pretend that they are stupid and to make yourself ridiculous.
